The Harpsdale was held on 17th Oct.which attracted a big turnout of twenty nine anglers,The completion started in dull but good fishing conditions,later the cold wind proved troublesome and the catches slowed down.James Farquhar coped with this best and was the clear winner. second,third and fourth were very close with less than one point separating them.

Conditions continued to remain cold for most of the month improving the last week. Both P Smith and G Harper landed eight fish on a two hour ticket.
