The Alistair Ross Memorial competition was held on Saturday 14th June, twenty two anglers took part in what turned out to be a close affair. The north wind and frequent heavy showers did not dampen the enthusiasm. Margaret Ross won the shield for the second time in the competition, run so efficiently by Charlie Farquhar. A total of 77 fish were caught.
